\2In general, what's a sceners real life like? Well, he uses his Amiga 4.35 hours per day. This is 18 percent of the whole 24 hours so the Amiga plays a quite big part in our lives. Sceners like to drink tea more than coffee. 6 told me that they drink both. Only one doesn't drink either of the two drinks. 7 for tea, 6 for coffee, quite impartial I think. 3 of the 20 told me that they were racists of some level. This is really sad, because it's 15 percent of all. If we then add the ones who didn't dare to expose that they are racists, we have a little problem here in the Amiga scene.
A scener mostly listens to techno. Almost 50% of all said that they were into techno. 5 were ones who listened to various music styles, and 1 listened to modules ;-) I guess here is the reason why there are so much techno modules in productions nowadays. OK, what does a scener think about his own group then? Only 6 of the 20 thought that his current group is a so called elite group. 12 said that their group is definitely not 'elite'. Two independents were interviewed too to get a full range aspect on things. 12 people told me that they were ready to change their current group to a better one. Then we have 6 loyalists and the two independents.
Are these topics near to you? I think that even if I had only 20 sceners, I got a quite fair final result. The fact that these were selected so that not too many dudes were included from one function made it a bit more accurate. Thank you for reading, and thanks to all who responded to my interview.
